CRANK coaches 27 technical interests across four studios.
- Media Studio: Songwriting and composing, audio mixing, sound engineering, musicians and vocalists, script writing, YouTube and podcast presenting, producing and editing, video editing and motion graphics, 3D and 2D animation.
- Art Workshop: Creative writing, digital art and illustration, graphic design, painting, model making (including 3D printing), clothing and costume design, crafting and sewing, art history, DIY zines.
- Cyber Lab: Penetration testing, security engineering, PC building and maintenance, keyboard building, front-end web development (UX/UI).
- Game Foundry: Game programming, game UI and UX design, 3D modelling (Blender), game concept design.
Social gaming, community sessions (like Pride & Positivity and Crew Spotlight) and development sessions (Employment Pathways, personal development) run alongside the studios. Gaming is the common social glue, but plenty of crew are here for art, music, writing or film first.
