Two complementary models, both strengths-based and designed for neurodivergent learners. Life and social skills are tracked on a four-level scale - Emerging (just beginning), Building (with support), Practicing (moderate independence) and Independence (consistent and self-directed).
Technical and gaming proficiency uses a five-level scale (Novice, Advanced Beginner, Competent, Proficient, Expert) adapted from the internationally recognised Dreyfus framework and aligned with UDL and O*NET, including a short self-assessment quiz. Every skill has written behavioural indicators, so progress is observed in real activity - projects, sessions, portfolios - rather than tests, and flows into achievement logs and NDIS progress reports.
